Frequently Asked Questions

How many Personal Training sessions do I need?

Sessions are dependent on your goals, and the duration in which you have to reach them. I will always be honest with clients about goals we set, and whether they are achievable. I offer multiple packages to suit each individual need, whether it is 4 sessions or 12 session pack.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give up to 12 hours notice before cancelling a Personal Training session. After 12 hours and you will need to text me or phone me to cancel and rearrange. You can cancel and rearrange your bookings online at any time through my booking app.

How do I pay for Personal training sessions?

You will need to pay for your sessions by buying credits through the OJ gym app, each credit counts towards 1 pt session.

You can buy credits in 4, 8 and 12.

What do I need for Personal Training sessions?

You will need gym clothing, a water bottle (there are water refilling stations) and appropriate footwear.

What should I eat before training?

I always recommend to clients to eat a balanced meal 2 hours before training, and to stay hydrated to cope with the demands of the workout.

How will you track my progress?

Through my Trainerize app, I can see every time you complete a workout, the intensity of the workout, and your max weight lifted. Each week workouts are scheduled to increase in difficulty alongside your goals.

The Fitness assessments are performed every 4-6 weeks to track your progress.

Is the gym entrance accessable?

OJ Gyms have a ramp leading into the gym. There are 3 steep stairs going down to the free weight area, so if assistance is required alternative means can be provided. There is 1 disabled bathroom, and the others have a small ledge to get into the shower. If you have any other needs, please let me know.

Do I need to pay for gym membership?

Yes you will need to purchase a gym membership from OJ Gyms. This allows you 24 hour access to the gym, and access to any OJ Gym in the area. Sidmouth, Honiton, Axminster and Cranbrook.

You can request a full induction with me upon signing up.
